Austin has many great organizations devoted to helping animals and the people who love them. Here are a few of our favorites:

Clinics and Community Resources
	EMANCIPE+ envisions a world where no cat or dog is ever killed just for being homeless. They provide services and advocacy that effectively and humanely reduce the homeless pet population in our community.
	Many dogs and cats go from AAC to the Austin Humane Society, the city’s largest no-kill adoption facility.
	Animal Trustees of Austin is a non-profit animal welfare organization with special services and programs, including adoption and veterinary services.
	Eye Care for Animals Austin practice is at the Austin Veterinary Care Center and is available to assist you and your veterinarian with treatment of your pet’s eyes.
Animal Rescue Groups
	Austin Pets Alive promotes and provides the resources, education and programs needed to eliminate the killing of companion animals.
	Travis County Animal Advocates (TCAA) represents Travis County animal rescue groups and animal advocates.
	Paws Shelter and Humane Society has been a no-kill animal shelter in Kyle, Texas since 1986!
	Love-A-Bull promotes responsible guardianship and seeks to improve the image and lives of pit bull type dogs through education, advocacy, and rescue.
	Blue Dog Rescue is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to end the needless killing of homeless dogs by finding permanent, loving homes for them in the Central Texas area.
	Wags, Hope, and Healing focuses on the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of dogs in need, specializing in dogs that were the victims of abuse or neglect.
Trainers and Boarding
	The Canine Center for Training and Behavior wants to help you enjoy your life with your dog. Their training is based on rewards and play, free of pain and intimidation.
	DogBoy’s mission is to deeply care for your dog, by providing a safe environment for play and rest, using reward-based training methods, offering holistic care options, and instilling complete peace of mind for our customers.
	Dog Camp is an all natural green environment with eight fenced outdoor play yards available to Campers in a beautiful Hill Country setting.
	Rancho Mondo NW Canine Resource Center is a fun and unique hill country setting run by trainer Julie Eskoff.

	Bark n Purr has been voted as the best pet store in Austin for the past 11 years by the readers of the Austin Chronicle.
	Dress-A-Bull celebrates the Pit Bull type dog and offers dog clothing, accessories and toys all tested and approved by Pit Bull type dogs.
	Austin Dog Butler is a premier dog butler service in Austin Texas, providing care your dog deserves, from the home your dog prefers. Services include Dog Walking, Dog Sitting and more. Don’t forget to ask about their Donation Program; they will donate 5% of your fee to the shelter.
	Firecracker Dog is a community and web store dedicated to helping people and their high-energy dogs.
	House Wine is a Wine Bar as unpretentious and inclusive as Austin itself. They host local charity events, local artist’s works, and local musicians.
	Independence Brewing creates handcrafted beers brewed fresh in South Austin and is a great supporter of the animal rescue community in Austin.
	Family owned and operated, Lofty Dog has become one of Austin’s favorite pet boutiques since its inception in 2007.
	Paige Reynolds and Bryan Treat are Realtors with J.B. Goodwin.  They have a passion for animal rights and they are preferred Realtors for Love-A-Bull, our local Pit Bull Advocacy Group.  They are also raising money for Friends of Austin Animal Center for THE SHADE PROJECT.

	Tomlinson’s has been providing Pet Supplies for Austin since 1946, with six locations in Austin to serve pet owners.
